Long Day- Ch 2

I sat there in the lawn chair, head turned around for what felt like hours. I looked them all over, head to toe. The tallest one, Kevin, was wearing a pair of dark purple skinny jeans and a grey plain t-shirt with one of his signature scarves, Joe was next, wearing black skinny jeans and a light blue t-shirt, his hair, flat ironed like in the many pictures I had seen of him, with a grey cabby hat covering the brown locks. Then the smallest of the 4, I assumed to be Frankie, the Bonus Jonas. He was beige khaki shorts, and a blue dinosaur shirt with a skinny tie tie loosely around his neck, he was holding onto Joe's hand, and on his other side, was Nick. Nick Jonas, my inspiration, my hero. Holding onto Frankie's other hand, wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a light purple polo, collar popped, black Converse shoes, and his dog tag.

"OMJ!!! OH MY JOONAAS!!!" Peyton woke me from my daydream. I glared at her, but of course she wouldn't see my eyes through the sunglasses. Jordan stood up, and being the little smart gentlemen twirp that he is, shook hands with all of the boys. I shot him a glare too.

"It's a pleasure to be serving you," he said while pouring them their lemonade. I still sat there, frozen. And then I realized, they were here for the family reunion. Betty, my old neighbour Betty, was one of their relatives!!!

"S-so, you're Betty's..." I spluttered.

"Great nephews," Kevin finished my sentence, and I smiled.

"Do you boys come here often?" Jordan asked in the most polite fashion. Ok, I know he's a twirp, but he's only a twirp cuz he's like, a child genius or something! And Peyton's just plain, an annoying, screaming fan girl!

"This is actually the first time up here, it's quite beautiful of what we've seen so far." Nick replied looking around at all of the trees and old houses.

Peyton was still hyperventilating when she cried, "We can show you around!"

"Peyton!" I gave her a dirty look. "Jordan, give the boys their lemonade. We're gonna pack up and go back up to the house, alright?"

"I like the beginning of that idea, but instead of going back to your house, I think you SHOULD show us around." Joe grinned slyly. I couldn't help but smile.

"Alright, let's bring the stuff back up. We'll be right back down." I told them. "Come on Jordan, Peyton, stop staring, and close your mouth, you look like a hippo!" She immediately shut her mouth and gave me a dirty look. As we walked back up to the house, carrying the lawn chairs and empty jugs of lemonade Peyton hissed at me, "You totally embarrassed me in front of them!" I laughed and replied, "You did that to yourself, don't blame me!"

I opened the door and saw Greyer smiling his big toothy grin. "Hey Grey!!!" He ran over to me and I pulled him up into an enormous hug. "Mom!" I called into the living room. "Peyton, Jordan and I are going to show some of Betty's family members around town!"

"Oh my Jonas! Mom, guess who they are!... Nevermind, I'll just tell you, the JONAS BROTHERS!!! AGH!!!" She screamed hard.

I heard Mom moan, "That's nice deary. Rianon, do you think you could take Greyer and the dogs with you? Greyer's been screaming all morning and I have a horrible headache now, I think I just need to sleep it off."

"Sure thing Mom, try to sleep it off, and take something to help, okay?"

"Alright hun, have fun kids!"

Peyton and Jordan yelled their good byes as we walked out the door. Greyer in his stroller, and Gizmo and Doodle on their leashes. We walked down the road and saw the guys waiting for us at the exact spot where we left them. "I have to take my little brother and the dogs with us," I warned them.

"That's ok," Nick smiled at me. "So, what's all of your guys' names? I'm sure you all know ours." He chuckled a very warm laugh.

I smiled and replied, "These are my twin brother and sister, Jordan and Peyton, my youngest brother Greyer," I pointed at the dogs, "Doodle and Gizmo, and I'm Rianon."

"Well it's very nice to meet you all," Kevin said giving us all hugs, followed by Joe, Frankie and then Nick. I smiled when Nick got to me and sighed, this was going to be a long day.
